Red Sox lose, 1-3
On paper, this should have been no contest. Leiber vs. Pedro? Who the heck is Leiber??? Apparently, someone that can shut down the highest scoring team in the AL. In innings 1-6 of both of these games, the Red Sox have a combined total of 1 hit and 1 walk, no runs. Incredible. Wait to go, guys.
Where's my baseball hat. It's rally time.

Don't lose faith. This Friday we return to Fenway. Three Games in Boston could be just what we need.

I heard the commentators mention that Leiber was a 14 game winner, so I suppose he has this stuff. But it was sad for me to see Pedro doing his part pretty well (after the early wierdness) and getting no run support. More sad to me was that I always managed to be watching the Red Sox when the Cards were doing their crazy scoring.

You should have come to Mackey's in Crystal City. They had dual screen baseball action going. It was wicked awesome!

But then, Kenji, I wouldn't be able to have my righteous indignation at MBL for putting the games on simultaneously. This way, I can fairly be angry at that UNFATHOMABLY RETARDED move.

Wasn't pitching supposed to be the Yankees weakness?
