Don't forget the extra $100 in black-matte-protection accessories :). They probably chose matte b/c the shiny plastic would collect fingerprints even more-so and would invite more scratch lawsuits.

I actually find the white MacBooks impractical as well. Most other laptop manufacturers will use magnesium or a more scratch-resistant plastic. With a white MacBooks you have to spend money on cutesy stickers to cover up all the scratches or use Brasso on it every couple of months.

navigation doesn't matter too much: your friends will read what's recent and anyone else comes in via search engine. don't spend too much time fretting about navigation unless you think there's going to be a lot of people wandering through your back entries.

i expect jappy avatars to clearly delineate who wrote what ;)

A few years ago they gave me the iTunes Music Store for my birthday, so I know the feeling.

I'm not really excited at all about the phone. Then again, I'm not in the market for a shuffle, either, so I don't need one that also is a phone.
